Walk with More Confidence!

December 27th, 2011 by Tam Tran

Tam’s Quick Tip: Soften your gaze and keep your eyes on the horizon when you walk.

Broaden your field of vision as you would while driving a car. Keeping your sight on the horizon lets you capture what is in front of you, to your left, and to your right. Keeping your focus on the horizon will also naturally connect your body’s central core; you will sync effortlessly from the center of your brain all the way down to the instep of your feet. Your sight, while parallel to the ground, will increase your balance, agility and reaction time. You can then walk with more confidence, weave through people faster, and avoid those cracks even before they are right under you!
